Registration, Accommodation and Travel

Non-Member rate is applicable to those people who are not and have not been members of AARES, as well as those AARES members who have not yet paid their 2007 membership fees. This rate represents the Conference registration fee plus one year’s membership rate to AARES for 2007 at a new member rate (20% discount).

Member rate is for those people who
were a financial member in 2007.

Full registration fees include attendance at all Conference sessions, morning and afternoon teas, lunches and attendance at the Welcome Cocktail Party, a satchel and program handbook. Attendance at the Conference Dinner and Social Event is an
additional cost.

ACCOMMODATION

Accommodation has been reserved at the Conference venue, the Rydges Lakeside, with special Conference rates (negotiated by AARES) that extend for the duration of your stay. These reservations are limited so please book early particularly if you wish to secure a room for the Conference and/or late departure.

HOW TO GET TO CANBERRA

Fly
Canberra is well served by a number of major airlines. Fly into Canberra with Qantas, Jetstar, Virgin Blue or Rex Airlines. The city centre is a ten minute drive from the airport by taxi, hire car or shuttle bus.

Drive
With the national highway system linking Canberra to the major Eastern-city State capitals, driving to Canberra is simple. Parking near the venue can be problematic.
