Aged & Community Services Australia’s (ACSA), has established itself as the industry’s leading body in the aged and community care industry. ACSA represents church, charitable and community based organisations providing housing and supported accommodation, residential and community care services to over 700,000 older people, younger people with a disability and their carers. They provide 50,000 retirement village units across Australia.

ACSA’s 2008 National Conference and Trade Exhibition is being held at the Adelaide Convention Centre, Adelaide. This important event brings together around 1000 leading aged care leaders and decision makers from across Australia’s $7 billion industry.

Our Conference theme in 2008 is “Aged Care in the Fast Lane” More Clients, More Costs, More Competition reflecting the dynamics and change being experienced by this growing and developing industry.

Venue

Adelaide, the capital of South Australia, is a city of great visual harmony and classical elegant style, set beside the Torrens River.

The venue for the ACSA Conference is the Adelaide Convention Centre, which is Australia’s first purpose-built Convention Centre, magnificently refurbished and expanded recently, overlooking the picturesque River Torrens. The Convention Centre is only 20 minutes from the airport and a short stroll to the shopping mall. Ideally situated close to a wide range of hotel accommodation and apartments, making this centre an ideal host venue for the annual ACSA Conference.
