Invitation
The theme for our 2009 National Scientific Meeting is Medical Science – Today and Tomorrow. On behalf of the organising committee, I extend an invitation to you to attend this exciting meeting so that you will learn from the wonderful speakers and presenters to benefit you ‘today’ and gain knowledge and skills for ‘tomorrow’. Our profession is a rapidly changing one with new tests, techniques and technologies introduced every week, and this conference is the ideal forum for the dissemination of this information across all the pathology disciplines.
The NSM 2009 will be held in the Festival city of Adelaide from 12th to 16th October at the Adelaide Convention Centre, and will comprise two full days of workshops covering all pathology disciplines, followed by three days of plenary sessions, concurrent scientific sessions and proffered papers and posters. The programme will cover all areas of our profession as well as topics in management, education, quality and new emerging technologies. The speakers will include a number of international and national authorities as well as local experts on a wide variety of topics and subjects.
The social programme includes two great opportunities to network with your colleagues and meet your professional counterparts. The Welcome Reception signals the beginning of the scientific sessions and the Conference Dinner will be the social highlight of the meeting.
I look forward to seeing you in Adelaide for what promises to be a wonderful scientific meeting.
