Event Overview
Qantas Destination SA - Adelaide's Business Event Exchange is an annual tradeshow hosted by the Adelaide Convention Tourism Authority (ACTA). To be held at the Adelaide Convention Centre from Thursday 24 July to Saturday 26 July 2008, this tradeshow will mark the 5th event in a successful series. Previous events have so far seen 41 new conferences secured to South Australia, together worth over $40m to the state's economy.



Qantas Destination SA creates highly affordable business to business opportunities showcasing South Australia's business event industry to fully qualified buyers.

The Program
The Qantas Destination SA program includes a Welcome Function, 2 days of pre-scheduled appointments between buyers and exhibitors, DSA Dinner and Regional Familiarisation program for National and International buyers.

The pre-scheduled appointment stream is solely designed to provide exhibitors with opportunities to generate new business prospects and build lasting business relationships. Preferred appointments are scheduled utilising exhibitor and buyer matching software. Appointments will be conducted on each day of the exchange, the first day between exhibitors and state-based buyers and the second day between exhibitors and national and international buyers. Exhibitors have the opportunity to opt in to either or both exchange days.

Adelaide is also the starting point for an Australian wilderness adventure unlike any other. Off the South Coast, a one hour drive from Adelaide lies Kangaroo Island. KI, as it is known to locals, is a small island home to abundant Australian wildlife. Picturesque, vast and breathtaking landscapes captivate you and provide the perfect setting to an audience of Australian furry critters.

Adelaide is also home to one of the world’s greatest art’s festivals – The Adelaide Festival of Arts. Heralded as one of the top three in the world, alongside the likes of the renowned Edinburgh and Avignon Festivals, the Adelaide Festival is the result of strong local arts culture.
