Welcome to ESAM11
The Econometric Society Australasian Meeting in 2011 (ESAM11) will be held in Adelaide, Australia, from 4 to 7 July and hosted by the University of Adelaide. The program will consist of invited speakers and contributed papers on a wide range of both theoretical and applied areas of microeconomic theory, international trade and econometric theory. The program committee co-chairs will be Professor Jiti Gao (Econometrics and Financial Econometrics) and Professor Christopher Findlay (Development Econometrics and International Trade). The Co-Chairs have extensive experience in organising National and International Conferences, such as the highly successful International Conference on Time Series Econometrics, Finance and Risk held in Perth in 2006.

The Ground Floor of Napier Building, located in the main campus of the University of Adelaide, will be used as the main Conference venue. The Ground Floor has a range of facilities, including both big lecture theatres for plenary sessions and small lecture rooms for invited/contributed sessions.
