PROFESSOR RUTH MILKMAN
Director, Institute for Research on Labor and Employment, University of California, Berkeley.
Research interests include the sociology of work, labor history, contemporary unionism, and the sociology of gender.

PROFESSOR GREGOR MURRAY
Research Chair on Globalisation and Work, Universtie de Montreal, Canada.
Research interests include unionism, work organization, industrial relations, human resource management in multinational firms and public policies on work, with a particular focus on the impact of globalization.
