The Fair Work Act: A Work in Progress

Professor Andrew Stewart will review the first six months of the Fair Work Act 2009 in operation, including how some of its key provisions are being used or interpreted, and the extent to which the Rudd Government’s reform objectives are being realised in practice.
 

Andrew Stewart is the John Bray Professor of Law at the University of Adelaide and a consultant to Piper Alderman. One of the country’s leading experts on employment law and workplace relations, his recent publications include Fair Work: The New Workplace Laws and the Work Choices Legacy (co-edited with Anthony Forsyth) and the second edition of Stewart’s Guide to Employment Law, both published by Federation Press.
