Commitment to Sustainability

The Adelaide Convention Centre is seeking to be the nation's most environmentally responsible convention centre. Combining Gold Service with Green Attitude, we're doing everything in our power to make our centre, our events, and even our delegates, as eco-conscious as possible. The Adelaide Convention Centre is ensuring the venue operates in the most environmentally responsible ways and offer a series of Go for Green events packages, as well as a number of carbon emission offset options for the organisers and delegates of functions large and small.

Facilities

The multi-purpose facilities and services of the Adelaide Convention Centre continue to receive accolades the world over. With a total area increase of 110%, the extended Centre now accommodates up to 6,500 banquet guests and offers 10,450m2 of pillarless floor space for exhibitions and banquets. An expansive atrium links the exhibition halls, conference and banquet areas, and the pre-function/foyer area of the Centre offers panoramic views over the river and parklands. Glass enclosed escalators provide guests easy access from North Terrace to the Centre. There is safe, secure, undercover parking on-site and three drive-in loading areas provide ample access direct from the roadway for staging and equipment needs.

Destination SA provides the ideal stage to influence quality senior buyers from around Australia, New Zealand and Asia.

Destination SA is the perfect solution for exhibitors by providing the following:

  • Quality hosted buyers
  • A buyer driven pre scheduled appointment system
  • One to one contact with clients offering potential future business to South Australia
  • Networking opportunities for buyers and exhibitors. The networking opportunities will enable buyers and exhibitors to meet and develop important business relationships throughout the event and during the evenings.

Who Will Be Exhibiting?

Opportunities exist to exhibit at the Business Events Exchange. Single or double booth bookings are invited, with double booth bookings receiving a significant discount to assist exhibitors in maximising exposure and profile.
Exhibiting is restricted exclusively to Adelaide Convention Bureau Members, including but not limited to: Airlines, Hotels and Resorts, Unique Venues, Tour Operators, Caterers, Special Event Companies, Conference Managers, Entertainment Agencies, Speaker Bureaux, Audio Visual & Staging Companies, Promotional Product Suppliers, State & Local Attractions.

Pre Scheduled Appointments

One to one appointments between buyers and exhibitors will be available. Hosted buyers must commit to attend Pre-Scheduled Appointments with exhibitors of their choice through a buyer driven matching system.

Buyer driven appointment selections

Buyers select a list of their appointment preferences. This is simply a list of the exhibitors they would like to meet.

Hosted Buyer profiles

Exhibitors also have access to the Hosted buyer profiles to assist with the Pre-Scheduled Appointment selection. These profiles will also be available for vital follow up communication after the event.

Online selection

Each exhibiting company will have an access code to enter to Exhibitor Zone, this is where your online selection takes place.

The match

A computerised matching system generates appointments based on the buyer and exhibitor preferences. The preferences will produce 15 minute appointments that will become your individual program over the 1 day.

Exhibitor Terms and Conditions

  1. The organisers reserve the option to change the venue and duration if exceptional circumstances demand. In the event of a change of venue and/or duration, the agreement to participate will remain in force as long as the exhibitor is informed at least one month before the changes.
  2. The event organisers reserve the option to accept or reject any application for a booth, allocate booths regardless of preference indicated and alter the floor plan depending on final allocation of site.
  3. In the case of cancellation, notification in writing should be sent to All Occasions Management. Unless that exhibition booth is resold the Organiser reserve the right to retain deposit monies received.
  4. The Exhibitor is responsible for all personal injury, damage to property or other losses, liabilities or claims arising in connection with the exhibitor’s participation at the Exhibition. The exhibitor will indemnify the Organisers in respect of any losses, liabilities or claims in respect thereof. The exhibitor agrees to participate at its own risk and to take out adequate insurance in respect of all such losses, liabilities and claims.
  5. I/We understand that the exhibition packages are allocated as outlined and the decision of organisers will be final.
