IPWEA and the International Federation of Municipal Engineering (IFME) invite proposals for papers for the Melbourne International Public Works Conference to be held from Sun 6th - Thurs 10th September 2009 at the Melbourne Exhibition & Convention Centre.
Contributed papers are an integral part of the success of the Conference. Papers are sought that will stimulate and expand thinking on a variety of issues within the conference theme:

Abstract Submission
Abstracts are to be submitted by email to ipwea@aomevents.com using the Word template (click here) by Wednesday 3rd December 2008
· The abstract must be typed, no less than 100 words, no more than
300 words, set out using the template
· Incluse a 10-20 key word description of the abstract and a 100
word biography to introduce the presenting author
· The abstract file to be named yoursurname_abstract.doc and
emailed to ipwea@aomevents.com
· The lodgement of an abstract does not indicate automatic
inclusion into the conference program
· Lodgement of an abstract acknowledges your consent to
publication of the paper on the IPWEA website and in the
Conference Handbook
· Communication will be with the presenting author only. Abstract
receipt and acceptance will be acknowledged by email
· Presenters will be required to fund their travel, accommodation,
conference registration and other costs
· Successful authors will be notified in Feb 2009; specific speaker
instructions and timings will then be provided
2009 will be a special international event not to be missed. Plan to be there.
