 About Canberra

The national capital is a vibrant melting pot of urban centers, architectural style, arts, culture and business. The city is uniquely bordered by Australian bush landscape, and home to many familiar symbols of Australian national significance. Canberra is easily accessible by plane, train, bus or car.

While in Canberra, why not visit the Australian War Memorial, Parliament House or the Australian Institute of Sport? Canberra has something for everyone - culture, politics, history, music, theatre, festivals, sport, science, shopping and all the inspiring monuments you would expect of a capital city.

Wineries, historic townships, beautiful coastlines and the spectacular Snowy Mountains are all within close distance to the nation’s capital and make for great touring opportunities pre or post-Conference.
