2010 VASSP VPA CONFERENCE
30 – 31 August 2010
Grand Hyatt Melbourne
Creativity in our leadership is essential. It helps us to grow and learn as we travel that challenging and rewarding journey as school leaders.
The 2010 Victorian Association State Secondary Principals and Victorian Principals Association (VASSP/VPA) Annual Conference combines a range of resources across primary and secondary government education in a creative and innovative way. The Conference program will deliver unique experiences from key people who have employed creative and at times provocative ways to solve challenges. We have a variety of fine presenters available over the two days (30 – 31 August 2010). Speakers like Janet Matton from IBM and Rob Redenbach, bodyguard to Nelson Mandela, approach education in creative and innovative ways. With brain research thinkers like Mark Treadwell and Amantha Imber, we will learn about the latest developments in their unique fields. Professor John Hattie challenges our existing beliefs in what really matters in schools and Adam Elliot is fun!
At the Conference, there will be opportunities to interact with panels and participate in smaller group discussions. This makes it an ideal opportunity to bring along your colleagues and leadership team and be creative together.
Bring your school team to the joint VASSP/VPA Creative Leadership Conference – The Event for Victorian School Leaders in 2010. Each participant will leave with key tools in our journey to be innovative, adaptive and creative in leadership.
